Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes are gearing up for one of their biggest recruiting weekends since Coach Prime took over as the head coach. The program is expecting visits from at least eight class of 2025 recruits, including 5-star USC QB commit Julian Lewis.

Lewis is one of the biggest names when talking about the 2025 recruiting class. He is ranked as the No. 1 quarterback and overall national prospect by Rivals and ESPN. Despite his commitment to Lincoln Riley's team, he is still making official visits to other programs—this weekend being his third visit to Boulder.

By going the extra mile, Sanders and the Buffaloes are trying their best to flip the commitment of Lewis from USC. While the 5-star QB stays adamant on his commitment, it is far from finalized at such an early stage of the recruiting cycle.

As a way to welcome the signal caller from Carrollton High School, a Boulder-based restaurant called The Sink is introducing a new burger dedicated to him. It is called 'Juju's Precision Pass Burger' and is essentially a double patty cheeseburger with shredded lettuce, red onion, bacon and A-1 aioli.

Julian Lewis has high praise for Deion Sanders' Colorado stint

During the On3 Elite Series last month, Lewis talked about Colorado heading toward a new direction following the arrival of Coach Prime and his children.

He also went on to state that commiting to the Buffs was not a part of his plan. But with the arrival of the Sanders clan, his perspective of Boulder changed.

"Overall, Colorado is probably the biggest name popping right now. They've got a lot going on in terms of Coach Prime, Shedeur, all those guys in terms of media and stuff," said Lewis.
"The season Shedeur had last year was kind of unexpected from my standpoint. Just getting to talk to Shedeur about his whole process and all that stuff just kind of opened my eyes to the situation of Colorado. Because I didn't even think of Colorado until Coach Prime and all them moved there."

It will be interesting to see if this visit will have an impact on Lewis' commitment to USC. Will Sanders be successful in luring the future QB star to his team?
