Colorado long snapper Camden Dempsey had a cheeky reaction to Deion Sanders' Thanksgiving post on Instagram. On Wednesday, Dempsey, who is commonly referred to as the "Governor," reposed an image of Coach Prime's post on his IG story with his family, with a slight tweak in his message.

"Champsgiving with the fam," Dempsey wrote.

Dempsey, a junior at Colorado this season, has not played for the Buffs in 2024. However, he has been an off-field presence for the team. Dempsey played one game for Colorado in the 2023 season, when the Buffs suffered a defeat against Arizona.

It's interesting to see whether Dempsey will get to play for Colorado in the final stretch of the Buffaloes' 2024 season.

Sanders spent Thanksgiving with his mother Connie, who joined his players at CU. Coach Prime also posted a series of pictures on Instagram celebrating the holiday.

Deion Sanders' Colorado suffered a 37-21 defeat against Kansas in Week 13 on Saturday. The loss for the Buffs dropped the team out of the College Football Playoff race.

Nonetheless, Sanders will look to finish the season on a high. The Buffs will host Oklahoma State in their final regular-season game on Friday.

Moreover, No. 23 Colorado (8-3, 6-2 Big 12) has qualified to play a bowl game this year, and Sanders is likely to consider this season a success despite failing to make the playoffs.

Sanders took charge of Colorado in December 2022. In his first season, he led the program to a rather underwhelming 4-8 record. However, this year, Colorado has been one of the most improved teams in the country.

The Buffs also have two players who are in contention to win the Heisman Trophy, quarterback Shedeur Sanders and two-way star Travis Hunter. While Sanders has garnered attention from the NFL and a few other top college teams for his work with the Buffs, Coach Prime has insisted that he plans to continue coaching at Colorado.
