EA Sports has unveiled a lineup of star athletes and personalities set to stream College Football 25 on their Twitch channel this weekend. Dubbed the "Gameday Showcase," the event features Sketch, LeBron James and others. This preview leads up to the game's launch next week, scheduled for July 16 for deluxe edition owners and July 19 nationwide.

Anticipation for EA Sports' new College Football Video Game is reaching new heights ahead of its official release next week.

Ohio State's Hillwood Stream will feature Frankie Walker and LeBron James, while Chad Ochocinco represents Oregon State. Sketch joins Mississippi State, with Donovan Edwards streams for Michigan and MMG for Michigan State. Michael Vick streams for Virginia Tech, Tim Tebow for Florida and Shane Gillis for Notre Dame. Dan Soder represents Arizona, Quinn Ewers for Texas, Big Cat for Wisconsin, PFT Commenter for James Madison and Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders for Colorado.

In the lead-up to this event, EA Sports has been teasing features and gameplay snippets, but this weekend marks fans' first chance to see the gameplay in action.

The game's development accelerated following the start of the NIL era in college sports in 2021, with over 14,000 athletes opting into the CFB 25 game ahead of its July release.

The College Football 25 game features rosters for all 134 Football Bowl Subdivision teams and includes two announcing teams. ESPN’s top duo, Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit will call the action, while Rece Davis, Jesse Palmer and David Pollack will cover regional broadcasts.

Game lovers can get early access to the game by preordering the Deluxe Edition, which lets users dive in three days early. The standard version is priced at $69.99, while the Deluxe Edition costs $99.99. For fans looking to save, the MVP bundle with Madden is available for $134.99.

CFB 25 will only be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X—there's no version for PC or Nintendo Switch.
