The Week 14 battle between the Florida Gators and the Florida State Seminoles showcased two teams that are on different paths. The Gators went on the road and secured a 31-11 victory and there were a lot of interesting factors in this game but the main takeaway was the Gators recovering five fumbles.

Florida vs. Florida State Game Summary

The Florida Gators had a solid game and did not need to have a massive game offensively to do so. The team was able to record 18 first downs and had 368 total yards of offense (133 passing, 235 rushing).

The Gators were able to run the ball extremely well as they had 38 carries for 235 yards or 6.0 yards per carry. Their offense did a decent job and their five forced turnovers (all fumble recoveries) was the significant factor in their victory here.
