Things didn't look good for Ole Miss early, as the Bulldogs capitalized on a Jaxson Dart interception in the opening drive by punching in a rushing touchdown, taking a 7-0 lead.
The Rebels responded with a methodical 10-play, 75-yard drive, tying the game at 7-7 with under seven minutes remaining in the first quarter.
Ole Miss held Georgia's offense, forcing a punt before kicking a 23-yard field goal to take a 10-7 lead with three minutes left in the opening period.
