Travis Hunter made history with the Colorado Buffaloes after winning the Heisman Trophy on Saturday. The two-way star became the second Buffs player after Rashaan Salaam back in 1994 to win the coveted award. Hunter beat the other competitors including Ashton Jeanty, Cam Ward and Dillon Gabriel to be crowned the best player in college football.
After Travis Hunter's triumph, many celebrities and famous personalities took to social media to congratulate the Colorado star. American rap star Mack Maine also came forward to leave a heartwarming note for him and head coach Deion Sanders.
On Instagram, Mack Maine shared a story with photos of Coach Prime and Travis Hunter at the Heisman Ceremony. The two-way star was consoled by Deion Sanders after he got emotional when he was named the Heisman winner.

"Maaaannnn congrats @db3_tip @deionsanders I personally saw the journey well deserved fellas God is great!," Mack Maine wrote in the caption.

This season was Hunter's second stint with the program. After winning the Paul Hornung Award last season, Hunter helped the Buffs secure a 9-3 campaign while also qualifying for their first Bowl game appearance since 2020.
The Colorado Buffaloes are scheduled to take on the BYU Cougars during the Alamo Bowl showdown on December 28. This will be the last time Hunter gears up for Coach Prime and his team before focusing on his upcoming 2025 NFL Draft.

Travis Hunter is also projected to be a top pick in the draft next year. Fans are waiting eagerly to witness him play on both sides of the ball professionally in the NFL.
