Shedeur Sanders is making waves for this year’s Halloween. The Colorado quarterback has been largely impressive this season, leading the Buffaloes to bowl qualification with a 6-2 record and an outside chance of making the Big 12 championship game.
While Colorado is on a bye this week, Sanders has inspired many Halloween costumes. Several kids online donned the quarterback’s No. 2 Colorado jersey as their costume while posing in his popular “Show the Ice” celebration.
Shedeur shared some of the costumes he inspired on his Instagram story on Friday.
Here’s a look at some of them:
Shedeur Sanders wants Travis Hunter to win the Heisman
With his performance so far this season, Shedeur Sanders has an outside chance of winning the Heisman Trophy. However, he wants the coveted college football award to go to his teammate, Travis Hunter, who is currently one of the frontrunners for the prize.
“They’re not going to give it to two players on the same team,” Sanders said. “Me and Trav, it won’t happen like that. It is what it is. I don’t really look too deep into that. I just want Travis to win, of course, and that will be almost like I won because I’m throwing the ball.
“He [Travis Hunter] is the best player in college football, hands down, and I’m excited for him to win it. That would truly just make my day right there. When he was on the cover of the NCAA game, just seeing him on there, knowing the sacrifice that he took to make all this happen.”
Hunter has been outstanding on both sides of the ball this season. The two-way star has recorded 60 receptions for 757 yards and eight touchdowns, already more than his output in the entire 2023 season. He also has 21 tackles, one for a loss, seven passes defended, two interceptions and one forced fumble.
Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter have been instrumental in Colorado's success in 2024, as the Buffaloes have bounced back from their 4-8 2023 season.
