Caden Harris is one of the highest-rated cornerbacks in the Class of 2026. 247Sports has the four-star recruit ranked No. 9 in the country. Harris made a surprise decision in April by giving his commitment to Vanderbilt ahead of college football powerhouse programs like Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss, Tennessee and Notre Dame.

However, there is a possibility that Harris will go back on the decision in the next couple of weeks. According to an expert prediction by On3's Chad Simmons, Georgia is projected to flip the cornerback from the Commodores, marking a great addition to the Bulldogs' Class of 2026.

Should the flip eventually occur any time soon, Caden Harris would become the 17th commit for Georgia in the Class of 2026 and the 11th blue-chip talent. He would also become the second cornerback commit for the Bulldogs in the class, joining four-star prospect Justice Fitzpatrick.

Harris’ commitment to Vanderbilt left many college football analysts and enthusiasts astounded. He became the Commodores’ only blue-chip commitment after giving his word in April. However, he explained the decision to The Athletic in May.

“From the start, Vanderbilt had been on me very hard, so it wasn’t very hard to see that it was a school I’d like to attend,” Harris said. “With them being a great academic school … how their program is quickly turning, it was really because of Coach Lea, he’s a very educated guy.
“So any time he speaks, he drops a lot of gems. “He talked a lot about stuff off the field and a lot of stuff with me being developed and a lot of things that are gonna really help me (with) growing and being a man. That just struck me.”

Caden Harris had initially set his commitment date in July

Caden Harris, who had a lot of offers on the table, disclosed to Sports Illustrated when he would announce his commitment decision in January. It was on a special day across the country in July. However, he went against that when he committed to Vanderbilt in April.

“I want to go on as many official visits as I can,” Harris shared to SI in January. “For my commitment, I have a timeline set up. I want to go on Junior Days and to practices this spring, May through June, take my official visits, and I plan on committing on July 4th. But that could change in the future.”

While that did change as he suggested, there's a possibility that Caden Harris will announce his commitment flip on that very date. With the strong defense Georgia has always had under Kirby Smart, the program is definitely a good destination for the cornerback.
