Kristen Saban had the time to play card games with her mother, Terry Saban, on Wednesday. With Miss Terry and Nick Saban now based in Jupiter Island, Florida, and Kristen remaining in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, they don’t get to meet as they used to over the years.
Miss Terry and Kristen were playing UNO, a card game created in 1971 by Merle Robbins. However, the cards mother and daughter used playing against one another were beyond normal size.
Kristen Saban expressed her amazement at the size of the card on her Instagram story. Posting a picture of the card on a table with Miss Terry sitting, she was amazed at the type of cards her mother bought.
“Is Ter serious? These are life-size,” Kristen wrote.
A tragic loss for Kristen Saban
Kristen Saban suffered a heartbreaking loss Saturday with the passing of her beloved dog, Gunner. Nick Saban's daughter took to social media to share the news, posting a tribute to her furry companion.
Her announcement was met with sympathy and condolences from friends and loved ones. Gunner was a popular figure among Alabama fans and had been spotted with Kristen several times. Their bond was evident, reflecting the connection they shared throughout their time together.
“I had to say goodbye to my first baby yesterday after 14 years of the most magical companionship," Kristen wrote. “If you knew Gunner, you loved him as much as I did.
“He was my little light of joy that I connected with from the moment I saw him. All dogs go to heaven, and I’m so thankful for the time spent together, a lot of it in my arms. I couldn’t have asked for a better pup. I’ll miss you forever, Gunnies.”
