The Bulls opened the game with an 11-play, 75-yard touchdown drive capped off by a 12-yard scamper to the endzone by C.J. Ogbonna. Buffalo forced a punt on the ensuing drive and capitalized with a 39-yard pitch-and-catch from Ogbonna to Tadd Barr, extending their lead to 13-0 entering the second quarter.
Buffalo continued their dominance on each side of the ball, forcing a punt and a turnover on downs before Victor Snow caught an 18-yard touchdown pass to give the Bulls a 19-0 lead. The Bulls opened the final period with a 42-yard field goal to extend their lead to 36-7. Buffalo notched one final touchdown to clinch a 43-7 win.
