During the first quarter of the Texas A&M Aggies game on Saturday, running back Le'Veon Moss was taken off the field due to a suspected leg injury. During a halftime conversation with ABC, coach Mike Elko confirmed Moss was out for the remainder of the game against South Carolina.
While the player was able to stand, he had to be helped off the field and couldn't put any weight on the injured right leg.
He sustained the injury after receiving a pass from quarterback Marcel Reed. Moss gained nine yards on the play, was tackled by South Carolina’s Tonka Hemingway and immediately started showing signs of significant pain.
For the remainder of the quarter, he remained in the medical tent, with the school's medical team and coaching staff entering and leaving. Shortly after the end of the first quarter, he was loaded onto a cart and taken to the locker room. Armani Daniels and E.J. Smith have since taken over primary running duties for the Aggies.

Texas A&M vs. South Carolina: The Gamecocks upset the Aggies
