Feaster shared a photo of himself fully suited in USC gear, sitting in a Trojan locker room while holding a replica Heisman Trophy.

"Soon," Feaster's caption read.

Feaster's message taps into the rich Heisman history of USC, which has produced legendary winners like Mike Garrett (1965), O.J. Simpson (1968), Charles White (1979), Marcus Allen (1981), Carson Palmer (2002), Matt Leinart (2004) and most recently Caleb Williams (2022).

Meanwhile, adding fuel to speculation, On3’s Scott Schrader reposted Feaster’s tweet with an hourglass emoji, possibly hinting that a commitment could be on the way.

Feaster is the No. 5 wide receiver in the 2026 class, the No. 5 player in Texas and the No. 44 recruit in the nation, according to the On3 Industry Rankings. He has already taken an official visit to Alabama and is scheduled to visit Texas A&M and LSU before announcing his commitment on July 4.

Ethan Feaster praises USC receiver coach Dennis Simmons

USC holds the No. 1 ranked recruiting class of 2026, which has 28 committed players. The class already features elite wide receivers like Trent Mosley, Luc Weaver, Roderick Tezeno and Ja'Myron Baker.

While USC isn’t the favorite to land Ethan Feaster, the Trojans remain a strong contender in his recruitment due to wide receivers coach Dennis Simmons.

“Coach Simmons was the first to give me one of my biggest offers,” Feaster told On3 in February. “So me and him have been close since my seventh-grade year, and he offered me in the eighth grade. Me and him have been close ever since, from seventh grade until now."

Feaster also praised that USC consistently provides top-tier quarterbacks for their receivers. According to On3, LSU leads the race for his commitment with a 91.3% chance, while USC trails with under 1%.
