During the Rebels' two losses to the Kentucky Wildcats (20-17) and the LSU Tigers (29-26), the offense left a lot of points on the field to the frustration of coach Kiffin.During his weekly news conference, the outspoken Ole Miss coach detailed the areas where his offensive line would have to improve going forward to snag a fading spot in the college football playoffs, as was expected at the beginning of the season."We've got to run block better, and that's everybody," Kiffin said. "We're not run blocking very well at receiver and tight end right now, which is discouraging because that's something over our years of being here that we've done very well."Despite dealing with a few injuries in the Ole Miss offense, which has led to reshuffling some players, Kiffin refused to blame the injuries for his team's offensive woes."They (offense) do a good job," Kiffin said. "They stop a lot of people in running, and people who are disappointed in the amount of points we scored, go look at everybody this year playing against them when they're not giving it away on offense. That being said, we didn't block very well at tight end and receiver on top of, at times, not doing well upfront. That's a really bad combination against a really good run defense."The Ole Miss Rebels entered the season as one of the teams expected to make a splash in the Southeastern Conference and the expanded college football playoffs but Kiffin's team is on thin ice after losing two games already this season.
