The No. 10-ranked Miami Hurricanes will host Ball State on Saturday, with kick-off scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET. The game will take place at Hard Rock Stadium and will be broadcast on ACC Network.

Miami started the year with a statement-making 41-17 road win over Florida. The victory proved the Hurricanes are the favorites to win the ACC. In Week 2, which was Miami's home opener, the Hurricanes defeated Florida A&M 56-9.

Quarterback Cam Ward has been phenomenal and is one of the favorites to win the Heisman Trophy this season. In 2024, Ward has gone 46 for 61 for 689 yards, six touchdowns and one interception.

Hurricanes coach Mario Cristobal has also been singing praises of the 6-foot-2 West Columbia, Texas, native.

“He’s not one of those ceramic quarterbacks. He doesn’t want to be,” Cristobal said, via Miami Herald. “He’s a flat-out baller. He wants to play ball. He wanted to come to Miami to win and win a championship and he wanted to improve himself as a player and he is doing all of those things.

“He has actively and with purpose, has identified those thing and is pursuing betterment in all those areas. That was one of them right there.,. Great game by him."

Ward has the fourth-best odds of winning the Heisman at +850.
