Ohio State championship odds: How likely are Ryan Day's Buckeyes to win Natty in 2025

The Ohio State Buckeyes have the second-best odds of winning the national championship, trailing only the Georgia Bulldogs.
Ohio State has odds of +380 to win the national championship, which implies a 20.8% chance of winning it all. However, that number will continue to increase every time the Buckeyes win.
That number could also drastically drop if Ryan Day and Ohio State lose their big games against Oregon, Penn State or Michigan.
Ohio State's Ryan Day focused on winning national title
Ryan Day is in his sixth full season as the coach of the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Day hasn't won the Big Ten in the last three years, but in 2024, the Buckeyes are favored to win. With that, the coach said the pressure is on him to get the win.
“Trying to make every decision we possibly can to make sure that we understand this isn’t just right now,” Day said to ON3. “We have to win right now but we have to continue — we can’t have a dropoff. Making all those decisions is something you’ll learn year in and year out. You learn more about yourself as a coach. ...
"We’ve been right there before. What is it going to take to make sure we get over the hump in those different spots? That’s where the focus is."
Day has gone 58-8 as the coach of Ohio State, but he has lost to Michigan in the last three years, which has put the coach on the hot seat.
Ohio State is on its bye week before hosting Marshall on Sept. 21.
