Boise State joining Pac-12 is good for college football

The Broncos’ move to the Pac-12 is a game changer for college football. There’s no denying their dominance in the Mountain West, but Boise State wants to be big and is ready to take on a challenge. However, the transition comes at a hefty price—a reported $17 million exit fee, to be exact. It seems like the Broncos are betting big on their future.

Jeramiah Dickey, Boise State's director of athletics, couldn't hide his excitement, calling it "a great day to be a Bronco!" He praised the university's leadership for carefully evaluating the move and said it was made with both the heart and the best interests of over 350 student-athletes in mind. According to Dickey, Boise State joining the Pac-12 positions it for long-term success.
