Shedeur Sanders is in the middle of his final collegiate campaign. He transferred from Jackson State last season, along with his father Deion and brother Shilo, and has since been a star in Boulder. Following a 4-8 season last year, the quarterback has helped the Buffaloes qualify for bowl games this season.
Not only this, but Shedeur and the Buffs are second in the Big 12 standings, making them a contender for the conference title and a spot in the new 12-team playoffs. All this success would count when he enters the 2025 NFL draft.
During this week's episode of his podcast, Shedeur Sanders and wide receiver Drelon Miller discussed quarterback Daniel Jones being benched by the New York Giants.

Miller hinted that he would love to see Shedeur team up with Malik Nabers while potentially getting drafted by the Giants next year. The QB smiled while listening to Miller and decided not to make any comments on it.
"I don't know. I think its just up to the staff, up to the coaches at that point. No comment. That's just the safe route for me. No comment," Shedeur said.
Fans took to social media to share their reactions to the Colorado QB possibly joining the Giants. One fan commented that Shedeur looked like he was not fully invested in the conversation.
"Shedeur absolutely baked holy s**t"
Another fan joked about Shedeur's dad Deion Sanders coming out of retirement to play.
"Does this mean Coach Prime is going to come back and play quarterback?"
One fan shared his take about the New York Giants looking for a QB in next year's draft.
"I'm just not confident the Giants are willing to draft a black quarterback in the first or second round."
Another fan commented on Shedeur's interest in partnering with Malik Nabers on the field.
"He wants to ball out with Nabers."
One fan said that Shedeur Sanders will not be drafted by the Giants.
"He ain't going to NY lol. Yall getting Carson Beck or Ewers."
One fan felt that drafting Shedeur would be profitable for the team.
"Shedeur on the Giants would feed families."
NFL vet believes New York Giants are tanking for Shedeur Sanders
On Monday's episode of "FS1," ex-NFL QB Chase Daniel talked about Giants GM Joe Schoen visiting Colorado and scouting Coach Prime's QB son. Daniel also talked about the team benching Daniel Jones as a part of their strategy to tank and draft Shedeur next year.
Chase Daniel highlighted Jones' poor performance on the field and how the Giants needed a better QB to lead the offense.
"This tells me why they (Giants) are tanking," Daniel said. "They are tanking for Shedeur Sanders or Cam Ward. If you knew this was gonna be the case, Joe Schoen, you decided to pay him (Jones) $40 million per year. You let Saquon walk. You decided to let your whole franchise go in the way of Daniel Jones.
"You knew this was coming. I knew this was coming. Daniel Jones has not been playing well, and for you to go out there and say, 'we're bypassing Drew Lock to get Tommy DeVito,' I just don't like it." (0:37 onwards).
The New York Giants sit last in the NFC East, with a 2-8 record and no chance of making the playoffs. Thus, tanking for Shedeur and strengthening their offense could be a long-term winning approach.
