Steve Sarkisian and the Texas Longhorns have put up an impressive performance during their debut SEC campaign. After defeating the 2023 natty champs Michigan in week 2, the Longhorns continued their winning streak with a 56-7 victory against UTSA in week 3.
The Texas vs UTSA showdown took place at the Longhorns home ground, the Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium. Following the victory, the program's official Instagram account posted video snippets of a Pyro drone show for the fans at the stadium.
The snippets included the drones celebrating 100 years of the stadium. It also showcased them making the Longhorns logo in the sky.

"Nothing like Saturdays in DKR," the caption read.
Steve Sarkisian's team suffered a setback when standout quarterback Quinn Ewers was injured in the second quarter and had to sit out the rest of the game. However, backup Arch Manning guided the Longhorns to a comfortable victory.
Steve Sarkisian has a talented QB room this season. Manning solidified himself as a future Texas star, recording 223 passing yards and four touchdown passes during the game. He also scored a 67-yard rushing touchdown which became the longest rushing TD by a Texas QB since Vince Young in 2005.
Steve Sarkisian heaps praise on Arch Manning following incredible performance against UTSA
After being the third-string QB as a freshman last season, Arch Manning has proved his worth for the Longhorns following his week 3 heroics.
In the post-game press conference, Steve Sarkisian heaped praise on Manning's performance. He talked about Arch growing in terms of skills and experience and how he is shaping up to be a good QB for the future.
"Arch was really our third guy last year the bulk of the season and didn't get a ton of experience," Sarkisian said. "So we went into spring ball, and we thought okay, Quinn's a starter but we got to make sure Arch is ready to play. And you never know when that can happen."
"So I'm really proud of Arch and what he's able to do. And I'm really proud of Trey. You know, got a couple of fortunate things in there trying to run it and just kind of get some first downs along the way. He actually operated really well for a kid." (0:05 onwards)
With Quinn Ewers reported as "week-by-week" following his injury, he's likely to miss the Longhorns' game against LA-Monroe. Thus Steve Sarkisian could play Arch Manning as a starter in that game and help him gain more experience before taking over Ewers place next year.
