In an interview, Shedeur Sanders opened up about Colorado's revamped wide receiver room for their Big 12 reunion campaign. He talked about how each player was special and that he was looking forward to an explosive offensive style on the field with the new additions.

"I'm thankful to have them," Shedeur said via On3. "Of course, I'm thankful because they all bring different things to the table. They both (Will Sheppard and LaJohntay Wester) were the top guys at their school and top guys in their conference that they were in."

"So I'm excited that they're able to bring their knowledge into also, so we're able to converse and see things in different ways. I'm really excited to have them. They all are very special and they bring different things to the table. And even the guys from last year, they've improved like X10, so I'm reay to get out there."

Apart from Travis Hunter and Jimmy Horn Jr., Colorado added more offensive weapons for Shedeur.

Deion Sanders brought in LaJohntay Wester and Will Sheppard this offseason from the transfer portal. Wester spent four seasons with the Florida Atlantic Owls before deciding to play for Colorado in his final collegiate season. Last year, he put up 1,168 receiving yards and eight touchdowns for Florida Atlantic.

Likewise, Sheppard also had a four-season stint with the Vanderbilt Commodores before transferring to Boulder this offseason. He recorded a total of 2,037 receiving yards and 21 touchdowns during his time with Vanderbilt.

Shedeur Sanders opens up about the best game advice from Coach Prime

"That's what dad says. Sometimes you seeing too much, like you played against all these different teams, very diverse in their coverages and all this stuff. So you gotta actually focus in on, 'Okay, what does this coach do? What is his specialty? What type of Coach is he?'" Shedeur said.
"I feel like definitely trusting actually the game plan and like really focusing on that. And not really seeing too much" (12:55 onwards)
