The Colorado Buffaloes locker room culture has come under scrutiny in the last couple of days. There have been allegations of violence and a general chaotic culture that have occurred in the locker room of Deion Sanders's program.

Sanders' eldest son, Deion Sanders Jr., defended his father and responded to those who have criticized the locker room behavior, which has been compared to that seen in the Grand Theft Auto video games.

Sanders Jr. said on X that the locker room had:

"TOO MANY WEAPONS ON OFFENSE (it’s like a real life GTA)"

The weapons Sanders was referring to here are the offensive talent that the Buffaloes have on their team.

The offense was one of the only things that worked for the Colorado Buffaloes last season, where they went 4-8. The team's two main players were quarterback Shedeur Sanders and wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter.

They are both returning to Boulder for one more season and will hope to improve on their good performances from the previous year.

But they are not the only offensive weapons in the Buffaloes locker room.

During the offseason, they acquired many players to help boost this side of the ball. This includes wide receivers Will Sheppard and LaJontay Wester.

How has Deion Sanders reacted to the allegations?

Deion Sanders has responded to the allegations of violence in the locker room. In one of Deion Sanders Jr.'s latest YouTube videos, Coach Prime was seen talking to his program's new players about these allegations.

"I can't believe some of the darn stuff that I read about us," he told his players. "It is crazy, isn't it? Some of you new guys, now that you in here, I know you got to be saying, 'This don't even make no sense.' Where they get this stuff from, y'all? Who's making up these lies because the best lie ever told is a lie that has a little bit of truth in it. Let's not give them anything to say."

True or not, these allegations do not help the Buffaloes program under Deion Sanders, which has been plagued with many controversies and exits that distract the team from what they need to do on the field.

Sanders and his team hope to change the narrative when they open their season against North Dakota State on Aug. 29.
