Boise State Broncos running back Ashton Jeanty has gained notoriety as a candidate for the Heisman Trophy but the star has also been compared to one of most famous horror movie characters.
Due to his stance before plays, Jeanty has been compared to Michael Myers, the infamous killer in the "Halloween" movie series. This led to fans combining and comparing the two.
In a YouTube video released Tuesday, Jeanty appears to see that, if things were different, these comparisons have a different effect.

"Do you ever think that if you (Ashton Jeanty) weren't balling, they'd be trolling?"
The comparisons between Jeanty and the infamous character only seem to work they way they did because Jeanty was a recognizable player performing at the top of his game.
This season, he has recorded 1,737 rushing yards and has scored 23 touchdowns on 224 carries. Jeanty is on course to break the single season rushing yard record, which was set by Barry Sanders in 1988.
Being compared to a fictional serial killer is something that many people may not want to be. However, if you are destroying your opponents on the field as Jeanty is, the comparison can be seen in a slightly more favorable light.
Can Jeanty win the Heisman Trophy?
Eleven weeks into the season, Jeanty is still in the running to win the Heisman Trophy. Every week, the odds seem to change significantly but Jeanty's presence in the top part of the rankings has been constant.
According to the FanDuel Sportsbook, Jeanty is the third to win the Heisman Trophy at +350.
As of this writing, the current favorite for the Heisman Trophy according to FanDuel is the Colorado Buffaloes wide reciever/cornerback Travis Hunter.
The best quarterback in the running, according to Fanduel, is Oregon passer Dillon Gabriel.
