Mercedes Sapp, the daughter of Hall of Famer and Colorado pass rush coordinator Warren Sapp, responded to musician Chris Brown’s viral moment. The singer performed his single “Take You Down” during a concert in Germany on Wednesday, and gave a fan a lap dance and kiss on stage.
According to Complex, this type of performance isn’t new for the performer. He’s known to incorporate similar moments into his shows for quite some time.

On Thursday, Sapp shared an Instagram story after apparently being inundated with messages about the incident. She posted a screenshot of a message she received from a news-focused social media page.
“REFFFF DO SOMETHING,” the message read.
Sapp uploaded the conversation, alongside a short caption.
“easily the 20th dm about my man 😂😂😂😂😂,” Sapp wrote.

It’s unclear why Sapp received a lot of messages about Brown’s on stage moment.
Mercedes Sapp seemingly a fan of popular Korean drama "Squid Game"
Mercedes Sapp showed her enthusiasm for the popular Netflix series "Squid Game" in an Instagram story on Thursday.
“june 26th ✨,” Sapp wrote.

Netflix announced that the final season of the show will premiere on June 27, making Sapp’s reference to June 26 one day early. It’s unclear whether she made a mistake about the release date or if she was referring to one of the international promotional events.
The OTT platform launched a global marketing campaign for the series, featuring real-life events and immersive games inspired by "Squid Game." The events started on June 6 in Shibuya, Japan, and will end on July 6 in Korea and Taiwan. There will be one held in New York City on June 20, but the exact location has yet to be disclosed.
Sapp works as a student-athlete enhancement coordinator at the University of South Florida, a role she’s held since 2022. In 2019, she earned her Master’s degree in Communication Management from the University of North Florida.
During her time at UNF, she was a Division I soccer goalkeeper, becoming the first student-athlete to win the Goalkeeper of the Year Award.
