Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders, Deion Sanders' son, has a lot to prove in the upcoming college football season. Following a disappointing 4-8 debut in FBS football, the quarterback has returned for another season as he tries to polish his game in preparation for the 2025 NFL draft.

Before Shedeur Sanders continues his grind getting ready for CU's Big 12 return, he flaunted his musical skills during the program's 2024 spring game afterparty on Saturday.

In a viral post on social media, Sanders performed as the opening act ahead of Lil Wayne's concert. The quarterback performed his single, "Perfect Timing," as his elder brother, Deion Sanders Jr., accompanied him.

You can watch the video down below.

While it looked like Deion Sanders used the spring game to test out his new recruits, his QB son put up decent numbers. Shedeur tallied 166 yards and one touchdown to WR LaJohntay Wester. He completed 10 of 14 passes.

During his first season after transferring from FCS member Jackson State, Shedeur recorded 3,230 yards and 27 touchdowns passing. One of the key weaknesses of Coach Prime's team was the offensive line's inability to protect the QB.

However, Deion Sanders has used the offseason extensively to provide better protection for his son. It will be interesting to see if Shedeur can improve his performance with a boost in protection this season.

Shedeur Sanders takes subtle dig at Cormani McClain's transfer decision

Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders took a subtle shot at Cormani McClains' transfer decision at the post-spring game news conference. Sanders said that the cornerback's and other players' departures in the spring transfer window have been a positive for the program.

"I feel like we got all the negative energy out the building," Sanders said. "So now it's just a positive vibe now. There's no complaining. We got to go out there and play with a clear mind. And when everybody's going with their part, at the end of the day, I don't care about end up each game with a 150 yards. I'm just trying to win this year."
