The No. 18 Colorado Buffaloes' coach Deion Sanders has been linked to the Dallas Cowboys of late. As per rumors, the Cowboys are looking for a new coach and Coach Prime could be a candidate to replace Mike McCarthy. However, Sanders has denied that he will be going to the Cowboys, saying (via Speak):

"I love it where I am."

ESPN analyst Chris Broussard spoke about Sanders' comments and the possibility of him going to the Dallas Cowboys on First Things First on Wednesday. He said:

"Look Deion handled it the way he should. He's got a team that could possibly be in the college football playoff, you don't want to give any hints that I'm looking elsewhere and if Jerry is interested this would only raise the price. So, he handled it well."

Chris Broussard believes Deion Sanders should go to the Dallas Cowboys

Although Chris Broussard thinks Deion Sanders handled the situation well, he thinks Coach Prime should join the Dallas Cowboys if they offer him the job.

"I think he should leave, if he can get to the Cowboys," Broussard said. "Is he really gonna want to coach Colorado without Shedeur and Travis Hunter? Deion is a showman, he's made Colorado cool. What better show?

"The biggest stage in football is the Dallas Cowboys. As bad as they are, as great as the Chiefs are, as good as some of these other teams are, the Cowboys are still the greatest stage in the NFL, and Deion would be perfect for it. I think he should go if he can."

If Deion Sanders is interested in joining the Dallas Cowboys or any other NFL team, he will need to decide during the off-season. He's not going to leave the Colorado Buffaloes mid-season with two of his sons, Shedeur and Shilo Sanders, and Travis Hunter on the roster.

However, all three are expected to declare for the 2025 NFL draft. Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter are even projected to go in the top five, with Hunter as the most likely first-overall pick. This could potentially lead Sanders to enter the NFL world once again.
