Utah vs Oklahoma State Prediction & Betting Tips - September 21 | College Football Week 4

The Utah Utes go on the road to play the Oklahoma State Cowboys on Saturday, Sept. 21, at 4 p.m. EDT. The game will be shown on FOX.

Utah is ranked 12th and is coming off a 38-21 road win over Utah State to improve to 3-0. Oklahoma State is 3-0 and is coming off a 45-10 win over Tulsa.

Utah vs Oklahoma State Prediction

Utah is a 2.5-point favorite to defeat Oklahoma State. The over/under is set at 54 points.

This is one of the top games of Week 4 as it's a ranked-on-ranked matchup. Utah quarterback Cam Rising had an injury scare but will play against the Cowboys. Rising, who has been in college football for several years, knows Oklahoma State poses a lot of problems for Utah's offense. Rising said, via 247Sports:

"I think they're a damn good team. I got a lot of respect for Coach Gundy. He's always been one of my favorite coaches in college football the past few years, and I think their team plays hard. They do it the right way, and they like to play a lot of man coverage, so excited for the opportunity to play them and looking forward to being in Stillwater."

Oklahoma State, meanwhile, blew out Tulsa on the road after a double overtime comeback win over Arkansas. The Cowboys are led by running back Ollie Gordon II who is one of the best running backs in the country.

Utah coach Kyle Whittingham said tackling and getting after Gordon II is key to success.

"We’re gonna have to be good tacklers,” Whittingham said, via Salt Lake Tribune. “He’s a guy that breaks a lot of tackles. He’s a big back, who is over 6-feet and over 220 pounds. He just wears you out.

"He’s kind of a bully back there, and that’s his style and very rarely is the first guy gonna stop his charge, but it’s have to be a concerted effort by the whole front seven to gang tackle and and wrap up."

This should be a high-powered game, but Utah's defense will be the difference here as Oklahoma State gives up too many explosive plays and points. Cam Rising should be able to make them pay.
