How did Jalen Milroe perform in Week 1?

Jalen Milroe was sensational in Alabama's first game of the 2024 season. The Year 4 shot caller threw for 200 yards and three touchdowns. He also added 79 rushing yards and two TDs for good measure. Milroe struck up a connection with freshman wide receiver Ryan Williams, with the youngster putting up a stat line of two catches for 139 yards and two touchdowns.

Milroe was a key reason the Crimson Tide defeated the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers 63-0. The victory marked the start of Kalen DeBoer's reign with style.

Furthermore, according to FanDuel Sportsbook Odds, Milroe has the fifth-best odds to win the Heisman at +1000. Only five players are ahead of him at the moment: Georgia's Carson Beck (+900), Miami's Cam Ward (+850), Ole Miss' Jackson Dart (+850) and Oregon's Dillon Gabriel (+850).

Nonetheless, he could be just the second Alabama QB ever to claim the Heisman in New York City come Dec. 14.

How to watch Alabama vs. South Florida

The South Florida Bulls will travel to Alabama to face the Crimson Tide. Last year, USF played against Alabama and lost 17-3.
