No. 17 Kansas State looks to keep its AP Poll spot as it travels to West Virginia to face the Mountaineers in Week 8 of college football. While their overall records look dissimilar, K-State's 5-1 and West Virginia's 3-3, they're closer in the Big 12 standings than one would expect, as they share a 2-1 conference mark.

The Wildcats have fallen to BYU, while West Virginia has had losses to Penn State, Pitt, and Iowa State.
