4. RJ Trott-Bermuda
On 5th August 2008, Rodney Trott from Bermuda became the youngest captain to lead his side in a T20I and that record still stands.
At the age of 20 years and 332 days, the right-arm offbreak bowler led his side against Canada in the 5th place play-off in the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier.
Ironically, it was also Trott’s last T20I match as after that he hasn’t played any T20Is till date for his national side.
Canada won that match comfortably by 8 wickets and with 57 balls to spare. Trott only bowled 2.3 overs in the match and conceded 18 runs.
