Cricket World Cup 2019: We have to take wickets against any team’ Pakistan captain Ahmed
Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed faced the media on Thursday - the eve of his side's opening match of the Cricket World Cup, against the West Indies in Nottingham.

Sarfaraz's side head into the meeting at Trent Bridge on Friday looking to end a ten-match losing run in international One-Day Internationals, which included a 4-0 series defeat to World Cup hosts England in a recent series.

Pakistan have been victorious in five of their last six meetings with the West Indies, but the bowling attack will have to deal with Chris Gayle if they are to make it six in seven.

Looking at the tournament as a whole, Pakistan can take positives from winning the ICC Champions Trophy in England two years ago, although Sarfaraz told media on Thursday that he isn't concentrating on previous results.
