It is the double header day in IPL 2022! On one end two teams in red with new captains and on the other, we have two teams in blue with old captains.

RCB vs PBKS
It is a rivalry between these two teams who have never won an IPL title till date. PBKS came too close to win one in 2014, only to be defeated by KKR in final. While RCB came too close to win one in 2009 and 2016, both times getting defeated by Hyderabad franchises; Deccan Chargers in 2009 and Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2016.
With captains of both teams changed this season, it will be interesting to note how Mayank Agarwal fares as a captain for Punjab Kings and Faf du Plessis for RCB.

MI vs DC
The finalists of 2020 are back in action against each other! MI has been the most successful team in IPL, winning 5 titles, while DC came closest in 2020, only to be defeated by MI in final. It will be interesting to see Men in Blues pitting, where recently DC has a bigger hand, winning both matches against MI last season.
