Andhra Premier League 2024: Most Runs and Most Wickets after Vizag Warriors vs Rayalaseema Kings (Updated) ft. Ashwin Hebbar & Kodavandala Sudharsan

Vizag Warriors defeated Rayalaseema Kings in the Qualifier 2 match of the Andhra Premier League 2024 on Friday, July 12. They will now face Uttarandhra Lions in the finals on Saturday, July 13.

Vizag Warriors batted first and posted a 191-run target for the loss of six wickets. Ashwin Hebbar’s 81* off 58, skipper KS Bharat’s 53, and Muvvala Yuvan’s 24 off 12 were the top scorers for the Warriors. Girinath Reddy and Midde Anjaneyulu picked up a couple of wickets each while Satyanarayan Raju took one.

In reply, Rayalaseema Kings batted well to reach the target but fell short by seven runs. Gutta Rohit scored 44 off 28, Reddy 27 off 18, Shaik Kamaruddin 22 off 7, and Bodhala Kumar’s 21 off 13 were among the major contributors.

Kodavandla Sudharsan led the Warriors’ bowling attack with two wickets while the rest of the bowling attack picked up a wicket each, restricting Kings to 183/7.

Both Ashwin Hebbar (365) and Srikar Bharat (320) of Vizag Warriors moved from the second and third positions to the top two, respectively, averaging 73 and 80 each.

Shaik Rasheed descended from first to the third spot with 297 runs in six games, averaging 59.4. Prasanth Kumar and Abhishek Reddy occupy the fourth and fifth spots with 227 and 211 each. Similarly, Pyla Avinash of Bezawa Tigers and Sanaboyina Tarun of Uttarandhra Lions hold the sixth and seventh positions, respectively.

P Pavan, Gutta Rohit, and Vamsi Krishna complete the top 10 leaderboard with 184, 166, and 148 runs each.
