Vizag Warriors defeated Rayalaseema Kings by eight wickets in the fourth match of the Andhra Premier League. They chased down the 131-run target in 14.5 overs. Uttarandhra Lions, meanwhile, won the fifth match against Godavari Titans by two wickets after chasing down the 128-run target on the penultimate delivery.
Uttarandhra Lions are still in first place after winning their first two matches. They have a net run rate (NRR) of +2.726. Vizag Warriors have jumped to second place from third with two victories. They have an NRR of +1.322.
Rayalaseema Kings have moved to the third position from second and have an NRR of +0.047. They have won and lost one match each. Godavari Titans lost their first match of the season and are in fourth place with a net run rate of -0.104.

Vizag Warriors won the toss against Rayalaseema Kings and elected to bowl. The Kings could make only muster 130 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs. Only two batters managed to score more than 20 runs for the Kings as Kodavandla Sudharsan and Gavvala Mallikarjuna took three wickets each for the Warriors.
In reply, Ashwin Hebbar scored 56 runs off 46 deliveries for the Warriors and was their highest scorer. Srikar Bharat remained unbeaten on 47 runs off 33 deliveries as the Warriors chased down the target in 14.5 overs with eight wickets in hand.
In the fifth match, Uttarandhra Lions won the toss against Godavari Titans and elected to bowl. M Hemanth Reddy’s 30-run knock off 16 deliveries helped the Titans post 127 runs for the loss of seven wickets. Yarra Prithviraj was the pick of the Lions bowlers, taking three wickets for 15 runs in four overs.
In reply, Seeram Venkata Rahul and Bendalam Satvik scored 30-plus runs each as the Lions successfully chased down the target in 19.5 overs with two wickets in hand. Titans' KV Sasikanth took three wickets for 29 runs in 3.5 overs.
