Andhra Premier League 2024: Top run-getters and wicket-takers after Rayalaseema Kings and Godavari Titans (Updated) ft. Ashwin Hebbar & Kodavandla S

On Sunday, July 7, 2024, Uttarandhra Lions and Rayalaseema Kings squared off in the 10th Andhra Premier League 2024 match while Godavari Titans and Vizag Warriors locked horns in the next.

Batting first, the Lions were bundled out to 121/10. Pinninti Tapaswi and Seeram Venkata Rahul scored 20 runs each while Yadla Vasu, Bendalam Satvik, Pinninti Tejaswi, and Yarra Prithviraj added 12 runs apiece. Girinath Reddy, the skipper of the Kings, Mohammad Rafi, and B Vinay Kumar claimed two wickets each while Penmetsa Satya Raju and Midde Anjaneyulu picked one.

In reply, with DB Prasanth Kumar’s 51 backed by Gutta Rohit unbeaten 26 off 19 and Thanneru Vamsi Krishna‘s 20, Kings achieved the target in 17.3 overs. Sirla Hima Srinivas bagged two wickets for the Lions.

Vizag Warriors defeated Godavari Titans in the following game. The Titans batted first and posted a 165-run target with Yara Sandeep’s 37* and SDNV Prasad’s 33-ball 54-run knock. Yeddala GK Reddy and Kodavandla Sudharsan secured two wickets for the Warriors.

In response, Ashwin Hebbar’s 75 not out, Skipper KS Bharat’s 29, and Garimella Teja’s 32 guided the Warriors to a comfortable win by eight wickets (DLS Method).

Coastal Riders skipper Shaik Rasheed continues to sit at the pole position, scoring 234 runs in four innings with three half-centuries.

Ashwin Hebbar of Vizag Warriors delivered an excellent 75-run unbeaten knock featuring nine fours and three sixes, in the previous game. He is now ranked second in the leaderboard with 197 runs to his name.

Warriors captain KS Bharat scored 29 runs in the previous game and retained his third spot with 191 runs to his name, averaging 95.50.

Pyla Avinash descended from second to fourth spot, scoring 170 runs in three games at a strike rate of 153.15.

DB Prasanth Kumar scored a half-century on Sunday and jumped from ninth to fifth position with 143 runs in his tally.
