The Murshidabad Kings squared off with Adamas Hamas Warriors in the 23rd match of the Bengal Women's Pro T20 League 2024 on Sunday, June 22. Harbour Diamonds and Sobisco Smashers Malda locked horns in the other game on the day.
Murshidabad Kings batted first and set a 102-run target for Hamas Warriors. Ritika Pal top scored with 29, Sandipta Patra added 22 runs, and skipper Prativa Rana contributed 13 off 13 while the rest were dismissed for single digits. Adamas Hamas Warriors’s Dhara Gujjar took two wickets.
In reply, Warriors could scored just 91 runs. Gujjar scored 47 off 54 and Shrabani Paul added 37 runs while five batters were dismissed for a duck and three scored one run each. Shrayosi Aich and Priyanka Sarkar secured a couple of wickets for the Kings while Priyanka Prasad and Sneha Gupta picked up one.
In the second game, Harbour Diamonds were put to bat first and were limited to 58/7 in a match reduced to 16 overs. Ratna Barman (13), Jhumpa Roy (11), and Mouli Mondal (10) made most of the runs. Shreya Karar took two wickets while others picked up one each except Priyanka Goldar.
In response, knocks from Soumashree Bhowmik (23), Iti Sarkar (13*), and Piyali Ghosh (10*) helped the Malda-based team comfortably achieved the target in 14.3 overs with eight wickets in hand.

With two half-centuries, Dhara Gujjar jumped from third to top spot, scoring 202 runs in six matches at an impressive average of 40.40.
Mitali Paul, with 190 runs in six matches, moved to second position, averaging 38 while Ankita Chakraborty dropped to third position with 159 runs.
Trishita Sarkar retained her fourth spot, scoring 147 runs in six matches at a strike rate of 76.96 and a decent average of 29.40.
Kashish Agarwal and Tithi Das currently occupy the fifth and sixth positions with 138 and 130 runs, respectively.

Priyanka Sarkar picked up two wickets in the previous game and took her tally to 11 wickets in six matches, averaging 7.91.
Piyali Ghosh has also secured 11 wickets in five games, holding the second position in the most runs leaderboard.
Following closely, with nine wickets each, Priyanka Prasad, Shrayoshi Aich, and Sushmita Ganguly hold the next three positions, respectively.
Ananya Halder and Payel Vakharia occupy the sixth and seventh spots with eight wickets each.
