The Bengal Women’s Pro T20 League 2024 witnessed two games being played on Monday, June 17. Sobicso Smashers Malda and Adamas Howrah Warriors squared off in the 11th match, while Rashmi Medinipur Wizards and Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers met in the next game.
Batting first, Smashers Malda could only manage to get to a total of 104/7 in their 20 overs. Although they lost early wickets, skipper Hrishita Basu played a vital 44-run knock along with 23 runs from Piyali Ghosh. Prativa Mandi and Sushmita Ganguly picked up two wickets apiece for the Warriors.
In reply, the Warriors batters failed to get over the line. They were restricted to just 81/9, falling short by 23 runs. Madhurima Prasad (21), Prativa (16), and Parama Mondal (12*) were the only batters to get to double figures. Soumashree Bhowmik and Priyanka Goldar claimed two wickets each.
The following game saw the Rashmi Medinipur Wizards being held at 123/6 batting first. Skipper Kashish Agarwal led from the front with a 57-ball 69. Dyutit Pal scored 25 runs. However, the rest of the batters failed to provide any support. Kolkata Tigers’ captain Mita Paul grabbed three wickets with the ball.
Chasing the target, the Kolkata Tigers women failed to get over the line, folding up at 95/8 in their 20 overs, losing by 28 runs. Mita (28) and Sushmita Paul (18) were the only significant scorers. Debarati Guha (3), Ankita Barman (2), and Monika Mal (2) were amongst the wickets for the Wizards.

Mita Paul is back at the top of the most run-scorers list in the Bengal Women’s Pro T20 League 2024 with 130 runs from three innings.
Sandipta Patra, with 108 runs to her name, dropped a spot to the second position from first.
Rashmi Medinipur Wizards’ Kashish Agarwal, with her 69-run knock, is now in the third place with 102 runs. Sneha Gupta, dropping a position, takes the fourth spot with 89 runs from three innings.
Dhara Gujjar with 85 runs and Priyanka Bala with 83 runs follow closely, claiming the fifth and sixth positions in this list, respectively. Priyanka dropped two places to the sixth spot.

Priyanka Prasad with 7 wickets continues to remain atop the Bengal Women's Pro T20 League 2024 leading wicket-takers list.
Ananya Halder and Payel Vakharia with six wickets retain their second and third positions, respectively. Ananya has a better economy rate, thus, occupy the second spot.
Shreya Karar has moved from eighth to the fourth spot with five wickets from three matches and an average of 9.40.
Piyali Ghosh jumped four places to the fifth position with five wickets to her name from three matches.
