Bengal Women's Pro T20 League 2024: Top run-getters and wicket-takers after Shrachi Rarh Tigers and Adamas Howrah Warriors (Updated) ft. Piyali Ghosh

On Sunday, June 23, 2024, the Murshidabad Kueens and Siliguri Strikers faced off in the 27th match of the Bengal Women's Pro T20 League 2024. Shrachi Rarh Tigers and Adamas Howrah Warriors locked horns in the following game.

The Murshidabad Kueens decided to bowl first and managed to limit the Siliguri Strikers to a score of 128/4. The main contributors for the Strikers were Priti Mondal, who remained not out with 38 runs, Samayita Adhikary with 35, and Priyanka Bala with 31. For the Kueens, Shreya Karar took two wickets, while Piyali Ghosh and Koyel Sutradhar each claimed one wicket.

In response, the Kueens lost Riya Goswami and Iti Sarkar early during the powerplay. Nevertheless, middle-order batters Hrishita Basu (30), Piyali Ghosh (48*), and Adrita Das (11) formed important partnerships. Despite their efforts, the team narrowly missed the target, falling short by just two runs.

In the second game, the Adamas Howrah Warriors managed to score just 97/8. Leading the bowling attack for the Shrachi Rarh Tigers, Roshni Khatun took three wickets, while Remondina Khatun and Rupal Tiwari each claimed two.

In response, the Tigers faced difficulties forming partnerships but eventually reached the target in 19.3 overs. Dipa Das was the top scorer with an unbeaten 23, followed by Mamani Roy with 21, Parna Paul with 16, and Sujata Dey with 15.

Ishita Saha took two wickets for the Warriors, while Parama Mondal and Prativa Mandi secured one each.
