LPL 2024 Most Runs and Most Wickets after Dambulla Sixers vs Galle Marvels (Updated) ft. Pathum Nissanka and Kavindu Nadeeshan

Kandy Falcons elected to bowl against Jaffna Kings in the 11th match. Pathum Nissanka scored 119 runs off 59 deliveries and was the highest scorer. His innings helped the Kings post a massive total of 224 runs for the loss of seven wickets. Dasun Shanaka took three wickets for 40 runs in four overs.

Dinesh Chandimal and Kamindu Mendis’ half-centuries helped the Falcons reach the daunting target of 225 runs in 18.2 overs with seven wickets in hand. It is the most successful chase in the Lanka Premier League’s history.

In the 12th match, Galle Marvels won the toss and elected to bowl against Dambulla Sixers. Chamindu Wickramasinghe remained unbeaten on 56 runs off 34 deliveries and helped the Sixers post a total of 160 runs for the loss of eight wickets. Kavindu Nadeeshan took three wickets for 16 runs in four overs.

The Marvels lost their first eight wickets for just 62 runs. Isuru Udana played the one-man show for the Marvels and slammed 72 runs off 38 deliveries. The Marvels were bundled out for 135 runs and lost the match by 25 runs. Nuwan Thushara and Dushan Hemantha took three wickets each for the Sixers.
