Ace Capital Cricket Club sit at the first spot on the MCLOT 2024 Points table in Group A, having won six out of eight matches while losing the previous one against Nondescripts.
Sinhalese SC and Nondescripts CC occupy the next two spots, winning five out of eight games. However, after securing their fifth win in the last game, Sinhalese have 12 points while Nondescripts have 11.
Meanwhile, Bloomfield Cricket And Athletic Club retained their fourth position with three wins and as many losses in eight games.
Ragama Cricket Club defeated Tamil Union Cricket and switched their positions to finish fifth and sixth, respectively, with seven points each.
Chilaw Marians CC are ranked seventh while Negombo CC and Panadura SC are holding the next two spots with four points each.
Heading into Group B, Colombo CC are still first in the points table with 14 points and a net run rate of 3.466.
Moors Sports Club moved from third to second while Burgher Recreation Club jumped from fourth to third. The two teams have won five games but Moors have 11 points in their account while Burgher has 10.
Similarly, Badureliya Sports Club, who climbed from fifth to fourth, have secured 10 points from four wins and two no results.
Colts Cricket Club dropped from second to fifth rank, having lost three out of eight games while Kandy Customs Cricket Club retained their sixth position with five points.
Similarly, Police Sports Club and Nugegoda Sports Welfare Club are ranked in the following two spots with five and four losses, respectively.
Kurunegala Youth Cricket Club round off the Group B table with just one win and five losses in eight games.
Sinhalese, Nondescripts, and Ragama won in Group A; Badureliya, Moors, Police, and Burgher triumphed in Group B
Sinhalese secured their fifth victory over Negombo by two wickets. Meanwhile, the table toppers Ace Capital lost to third-ranked Nondescripts in the previous encounter by three wickets.
However, due to bad weather, the third game between Chilaw Marians Cricket Club and Panadura Sports Club ended with no result after Marians scored 157/7 in 42.5 overs.
Tamil Union suffered their fourth loss against Ragama CC while Colts faced their third against Badureliya SC by six wickets each.
Police SC defeated Kandy Customs CC by six runs. Moors SC and Burgher bagged their fifth win in the previous game against Kurunegala Youth Cricket Club and Nugegoda Sports Welfare Clu, respectively.
