Pondicherry T20 2024: Top run-getters and wicket-takers after Match 22 (Updated) ft. Kaladi Nagur Babu and Kishore Kumar

Pondicherry West XI secured a three-wicket win over Mahe XI in the 21st match of Pondicherry T20 2024, while Yanam XI registered a six-wicket win over Pondicherry South XI in the 22nd game.

Shifting the focus to the 21st clash, Mahe XI batted first and racked up 139/7 in 20 overs. Keeper-batter Mohammad Shaheer scored 54 runs off 32 balls to emerge as the top-scorer of the innings. In reply, Pondicherry West XI took 19 overs to chase down the total with three wickets in hand.

No.4 batter Sathish S top-scored with 39 runs off 22 balls with one four and four sixes to steer his side to a stylish win. Sherfudheen's three-fer went in vain for Mahe XI.

Moving to the 22nd contest, Pondicherry South XI batted first and posted 125/7 in 20 overs. Captain Sivamurugan M was the lone star batter, top-scoring with 57* off 44 with four fours and as many sixes.

In response, Yanam XI displayed sheer dominance, winning the game in just 16.4 overs with six wickets remaining. Opening batter and captain Kaladi Nagur smacked a match-winning 50-run knock with seven fours and one six. He was well supported by his partner Sunil Kumar, who racked up 31 runs from 28 balls.

Yanam XI batter Kaladi Nagur Babu strengthened his top spot in the run-scoring charts with 270 runs from seven innings. PSXI batter Sivamurugan M moved one spot up to secure the second rank with 187 runs.

Yanam's Shiva Satish Varma climbed from fourth to third rank, accumulating 138 runs. PNXI's P Sunil Kumar slid from second to fourth spot with 132 runs to his name. Yanam batter K-Sunil Kumar propelled from sixth to fifth slot with 119 runs.
