The final of the 2024 Pondicherry T20 League was a low-scoring affair between the Tuskers XI and Tigers XI at the CAP Siechem Ground, Pondicherry, on Sunday, July 14.
Tigers XI won the toss and asked the Tuskers to bat first in the all-important final. The Tuskers got off to a horrid start as they lost their top three batters in quick succession. Batting at number four, Akash Pougajendy took the responsibility to hold the fort for the Tuskers XI as he went on to score a mature 48 off 40 deliveries, while Ashok R (22) was the second-highest run-scorer for the Tuskers.

In the end, the Tuskers posted 134 in 20 overs as Harsh Vaishnva took 3/19 for the Tigers, while Pooviarasna Manogaran and Aditya More supported Harsh with two wickets each to their names.
Opening wicketkeeper batter Siddarth Naidu A made sure the target was never out of reach as he scored 34 off just 30 deliveries at the top of the innings to give the Tigers the start they needed. Skippers Santosh Ratnaparke (26 off 37) and Nadeem Khan (48* off 17) helped the Tigers clinch the 2024 Pondicherry T20 title as they defeated the Tuskers with five wickets to spare.

Anand Bais finishes the 2024 Pondicherry T20 tournament as the highest run-getter with a total of 224 runs in just four matches. Shishir HR of the Tuskers XI is the highest wicket-taker of the 2024 edition of the Pondicherry T20 tournament as he bagged nine wickets in five games played in the tournament.
