Revealed: The first-ever winners of the HDFC Life presents Jeet Ka Insurance Cricket Quiz

After some action-packed adventure, the winners of the HDFC Life presents Jeet Ka Insurance Cricket Quiz powered by Sportskeeda have finally been revealed.

In the grand final, By The Barest of Margins (Preetham Upadhya & Rohit Suresh), who beat Sese Bau Fan Club (Sarbajit Mitra & Gourav Charkaborti) in the first semifinal took on Nat and Team (Mithraa Varun S & Ramesh Natarajan), who got the better of Potoldanga Thunder Club (Deepanjan Deb & Prithwish Datta) in the second semifinal.

Both By The Barest of Margins and Nat and Team came up with dominant performances in their respective semifinals. As such, the final was expected to be a closely contested affair. And the grand finale lived up to the expectations.

After six grueling rounds of quizzing, By The Barest of Margins won the final by staving off stiff competition from Nat and Team. While Nat and Team finished with a final score of 925 points, By The Barest of Margins ended with 1165 points to be crowned the first-ever winners of the HDFC Life presents Jeet Ka Insurance Cricket Quiz.

For their amazing performance in the quiz, winners By The Barest of Margins walked away with a prize of ₹3 lakh, while the runner-ups Nat and Team were awarded ₹1.5 lakh. Venky Srinivasan of Nexus Consulting was the Quizmaster for the competition.

Apart from testing the memory of participants, the HDFC Life presents Jeet Ka Insurance Cricket Quiz also evaluates their knowledge and quick-thinking ability. The pan-India cricket quiz saw as many as 15,000 teams taking part in the online round. From there, the eight top teams made it to the Super 8 round - the quarterfinals and subsequently the semifinals and the final.

Star (Sanidhya Gupta & Sanidhy Mahawar), The Contingency Theorists (Prateik Mahapatra & Kapil Kulkarni), Qurious Minds (Roshan Krishna & Hariharan) and Fast and Curious (Sushant Adlakha & Aswani Kumar Sharma) were the other four sides that made it to the Super 8 round but could not qualify further.

All the teams, however, displayed great cricketing knowledge making the first edition of the HDFC Life presents Jeet Ka Insurance Cricket Quiz a grand success.
