A video of Sarfaraz Ahmed making some hilarious comments on Babar Azam during match number seven of the Champions One-Day Cup between Stallions and Dolphins has gone viral on social media. In the clip, he is heard asking his teammates to let Babar bat for forty overs and dismiss the other batters from the opposition.

Stallions won the toss and elected to bat first in the match against Dolphins at the Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad on Thursday, September 19. Stallions openers Shan Masood (34 off 46) and Yasir Khan (46 off 58) got the team off to a good start, adding 76 in 13 overs. The stand ended when Faheem Ashraf dismissed Masood.

With Babar having arrived at the crease at the fall of the first wicket, Dolphins keeper-batter Sarfaraz was caught on the stump mic passing some hilarious comments. He said:

"Theek hai, theek hai. Jaldi nahi hai, jaldi nahi hai. Bas in logo ko bolo Babar Babar karte rahe. Hum Babar ko chalis over khila denge. Shabaash. Baaki saare out ho jayenge. Boys, come on lads." (It's okay, there's no hurry. Let the crowd keep saying Babar, Babar. We will make him play 40 overs. The rest will get out.)

Amazingly, Sarfaraz's words turned out to be near prophetic. Babar ended up unbeaten on 104 off 100 balls as Stallions finished their innings on 271-7.

How Babar Azam guided Stallions to competitive total against Dolphins

After Masood and Yasir got Stallions off to a good start in match number seven of the Champions One-Day Cup, Babar carried on the good work. The right-handed batter struck seven fours and three sixes to lift his team to a decent total.

Babar and Tayyab Tahir (33 off 49) added 57 runs for the third wicket. Stallions skipper Mohammad Haris fell for six off 15 after which Hussain Talat chipped in with 23 off 25. Dolphins kept picking wickets from one end, but Babar was unconquered and ensured his team finished on a high, with some big hits.
