The third day of the seventh round of Ranji Trophy matches saw a brisk century from Suresh Raina, as several other brave performances from teams around the country have set us up for a cracking final day of action when play resumes tomorrow.

Suresh Raina’s ton took UP to a total of 273/5 giving Tamil Nadu a target of 391 at the end of the 3rd day. Raina’s form continued after his 61 in the first innings and he managed a quick 145 off just 138 balls in the 2^nd innings, helping his team earn a good position in the test. Tamil Nadu will resume play at 5/0.

An easy win for Kerala against Goa as they win over them by an innings and 83 runs. An all-round bowling performance by Kerala helped them take away this match by restricting Goa to a total of 167 in the second innings.

Munaf Patel and Irfan Pathan both grabbed 3 wickets each to help Baroda seal their win against Punjab by an innings and 116 runs. Punjab were all out for 147. Kedhar Devdhar was the Man of the Match for his 186 in the first innings.
