It looks like the Royal Challengers Bangalore are all set to change their name from the upcoming 13th edition of the Indian Premier League, which begins from March 29. If the reports are to be believed, the Virat Kohli led franchise might be renamed Royal Challengers Bengaluru. While there is no clarity whether the words Royal Challengers will be retained or not, but it looks like ‘Bangalore’ might be replaced by ‘Bengaluru’, which came into being on November 1, 2014.
