To emerge as the leading wicket-taker from a tournament where players like Zaheer Khan, Andre Russell and Ravi Rampaul are competing, is a matter of pride for every bowler. On top of that, to trouble the batsmen in a format like T10 is another big thing. 22-year-old George Garton achieved this rare feat in T10 League 2019. The left-arm pacer from Sussex played for the Qalandars this year.

With his left-arm pace bowling, Garton bagged 12 wickets in 9 T10 matches. He bowled 16 overs and had a bowling average of 13.67. He recorded his best bowling figures of 3/10 against the Northern Warriors in the league stage.

While opening the innings for his side, Lynn smashed 371 runs from 8 matches at an average of 53. He even shattered the record for the highest individual score in a T10 match by playing a knock of 91 runs against Team Abu Dhabi. The right-handed batsman batted with a strike-rate of 303.33 in that innings and entertained the fans at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium.

He had even led the Arabians in a few games and ultimately, Lynn won the ‘Best Batsman’ award of the tourney.
