The one player which South Africa might miss the most after the World Cup 2019 is their star leg-spinner, Imran Tahir. Tahir provided the finest of his services from 2011 to 2019 by being the best leg spinner of his side. Even though he retired at 40 years of age, his bowling consistency and accuracy had not deteriorated. He proved to be the cornerstone for his side with his mind-boggling spin variations.

Known for his witty leg-spin bowling, Tahir retired with 293 wickets to his name across all the formats of the game. The star bowler had performed well for his side in the 2019 World Cup. It seemed like his performance kept on improving with his age.

The fans will never see the wild celebrations of Imran Tahir now, at least at the international level. However, the leggie may entertain the cricket universe by playing in the T20 leagues around the world.
