World Cup 2019: 'I'd have give my right leg for it' - Plunkett on England's historic World Cup win
England bowler Liam Plunkett was over-whelmed after his side won the World Cup on Sunday, and said he 'would have given his right leg for it'.

The home side lifted the trophy at Lord's after England and New Zealand both scored 241 runs in the match and 15 runs each in the super over - but England won their first ever World Cup because they had scored more boundaries in the game.

Plunkett played a pivotal part in the victory restricting New Zealand's batsmen and taking wickets at crucial moments.

The World Cup winner finished with 3-40 off his 10 overs and took the vital wicket of New Zealand captain Kane Williamson and Henry Nicholls in just 14 balls.
