World T20 qualifiers: Nepal defeats UAE in warm-up match

UAE decided to bat first and were all out just making 138 run. Nepal reached the target of 139 runs in 19.3 overs with 3 balls remaining to play.

Nepal vice-captain Gyanendra Malla smashed 25 off 30 balls with three boundaries. With Nepal needing six runs to win from the last over, skipper Khadka hit the first ball for a four and took a single in the next. Sagar Pun then smashed a four off the third delivery to seal victory.

Nepal will take on the USA in the second practice match on Wednesday before opening its campaign against Denmark on Friday.
