Ferreira resigns as BSAM president

Michael Ferreira resigned as President of the Billiards & Snooker Association of Maharashtra.

Former world amateur billiards champion Michael Ferreira resigned as President of the Billiards & Snooker Association of Maharashtra, according to a BSAM press release.

“The BSAM Managing Committee in its meeting held on 14th December 2013 unanimously accepted the resignation received from the President Mr. Michael Ferreira,” the release said. “The MC thanked the outgoing president for his yeoman service to the BSAM all these years. The MC recommended that vice president Mr. Rajan Khinvasara take over as President of BSAM and Mr. Yasin Merchant take the place of the vice president.”

Both Khinvasara and Merchant accepted their respective posts, the release added.
