BioWare lays hints on Release of Mass Effect Trilogy for PS4 and Xbox One

The makers of the epic Mass Effect Trilogy, BioWare have hinted on the prospects of the release of the game for new consoles like Xbox One and PS4. Aaryn Flynn who has acquired the position of GM for BioWare’s Edmonton & Montreal studio gave up an interesting tweet that signalled the revelation. He said: “Looking forward to #N7Day14! Unfortunately we have no news about the Mass Effect Trilogy coming to new consoles. When we do we’ll share ASAP”. Inspite of the absence of an official announcement for the release this message clearly suggests their intention of bringing out new versions for PS4 and Xbox One.

Mass Effect Trilogy has already been released for previous consoles, so the versions for new consoles is likely to be a part of a “re-release” and considering the popularity of the game it would certainly benefit if its ported for PS4 and Xbox One. Such a strategy might be employed by BioWare to distract the gamers from the time gap before the release of Mass Effect 4.
